Bubuy..

I'm sooooo in lurve with Mariah Carey's Bye Bye... both the original version and also the remix version...
I can listen to it over and over and over and over again!!!
Whenever i hear the song, memories of loved ones who left me flood back into my mind...

"You never got a chance to see how good I've done
And you never got to see me back at number one
I wish that you were here to celebrate together
I wish that we could spend the holidays together
I remember when you used to tuck me in at night
With the teddy bear you gave me that I held so tight
I thought you were so strong you'd make it through whatever
It's so hard to accept the fact
You're gone forever"

Yesterday, i taught a poem about death in class. And i told my students my experience attending funerals. So, i told them about my grandfather's funeral. The first 30 seconds of my story went quite well. They listened attentively to my story. After the 30 seconds... i realized i'm gonna cry! Shit. I can't possibly cry in front of my students! I'm not sure if they realize it, because i think my voice changed. But i caught their atention with my story, hehe..

They surprised me today though..
4G was very obedient and behave well beyond my expectation.
Im so happy with their performance today!! :)

Perhaps it is because of the prizegiving thing..
hmm.. must get them something good to motivate them..

Don't cry after you listen to this song ok....

Zzzzz....

At last, Saturday is here...OMG never felt so happy before!!
I managed to sleep for 1o HOURS last nite.
Bliss *smile dreamily*

Since Monday, I have only been sleeping for 5 or 6 hours only... dead tired and moody..
Well, i guess i have to get use to it fot the next 9 weeks..

oh ya, 1 week down, 9 more weeks to go! yipee.

2moro i have to go to Bukit Jalil for the Cheer 2008!
So, i'm torn between these two-----------

**positive attitude= yay! can go n support our school, see them perform, and get to know the students

**Negative attitude= hve to work on sunday!!! and from morning till evening -_-

anyway, i will start teaching officially on monday. Yeah, some of the students are very challenging and naughty, but i believe i can handle them.. Kinda like them actually :)

PS: went to Pyramid yesterday after school and found a shirt that i've been looking for the past few months.. Hehe. Damn happy.

A place I call home

I've been staying away from home for the past 3 years. And in that 3 years, my housemates and friends have had enough of me wailing "I wanna go hoooommmmeeee.....", "I miss hooooommmeeee". Hehe, guess i've grew out of it. I'm beginning to see the apartment i share with 7 other gorgeous-ses as my second home.
Although it is not as well-equipped as my home, but it is a place where i learnt the art of sharing, perseverance and not to mention responsibility.

Having grew up in a small family (Mom, Dad, Me, and Bro), I would say i'm overly pampered at home. I don't have to do house chores, and meals would be waiting for me on the dining table when it is mealtime. But in PJ, i have to do everything by myself, which i think is a good thing. I even cooked my very first decent meal here(not maggi mee meal)(Damn proud of myself!)

Living with seven gorgeous-ses is definitely not easy. Especially when we we all are rushing for classes early in the morning. (u know la, have to queue for the bathroom and fight for the big mirror to pan-leng-leng). Of coz, there are times when we argue about daily duties and unwashed dishes and so on...

The fun part of living together...
*bbq at the swimming pool
*pizza parties
*Alcohol parties where we drink ourself silly

One more year before we move out, going on our separate ways...
gonna miss u guys!!

Countdown to...

teaching practice!
4 more days to go before reporting officially as a trainee teacher! *gasp*
Part of me is looking forward to teach in school, but the other part is dreading it.
The idea of having more than 20 pair of teenage eyes staring back at me while I stand in front of the class send chills down my spine... trust me.. it is not a very comfortable feeling..

however, i think both my partner Ling and I are very lucky..
Before the sem break started, Prof G told us that we are going to La Salle Klang to teach. OMG! the first few thing that comes to our mind was "how r we gonna go to Klang?", "move to Klang?", what about our rent in PJ?", "i can't afford to rent two places at the same time!"

Then, during the sem break, i called Prof G to ask if there are other schools nearer to PJ which would want another two trainees. Her reply was short "You have no other choice but to go to Klang." 5 seconds after that, i called Ling, and told her what happened, and we are planning to ask friends if they know of anyone who wants to rent out rooms in Klang.

That very afternoon, i received a call from Prof G! Good news! Seafield USJ is available. Do we want to go there? OF COZ we want to go!

So, now the only thing to worry about is how to get to the school early in the morning.
Option 1# carpool with other TESLians who are going to USJ area as well
Option2# taxi

A few weeks later, we received this good news..
Joan and Jeneft are also going to the same school! Yay!
And not only that, all four of us are gonna teach the morning session.
And with more people in one school, discussion on lessons will be much easier..
