Bumped into V yesterday and had a long chat over 2 glasses of ice lemon tea. It's been such a long time since we last talked. Apparently, many things had happened over the past few months/ years. He is getting busier with business and work and I still hanging around aimlessly...
Lighhearted jokes turned to something more serious. And I poured everything out to him, almost bursting into tears (passerbys might think he just dumped me or something) and ask for his opinion (though he is not exactly the person to give good advice -__-)
Me: It's not as simple and easy as you think.
Him: Well, maybe it is not as difficult as you think. All it takes is hard work and determination. Surely you can survive rite?
Yeah.. he is not the first person that told me that. Angela said everything started out to be difficult at first. All it takes is a little hard work. You reap what you sow. Where there is a will, there is a way.
My mind flashed back to another friend M who once asked me "Lei em ngai tak geh, hai mai?"
losely translated into "you can't suffer/ live in difficult time/ work hard can you?"

everyone is different
everyone has different level of thoughts, opinion, feelings, patience and etc.
being a prostitute is easy for somebody
being a PHD holder is hard for the prostitute
but being a prostitute is impossible and hard for A PHD holder.
but we're all same; one human being.
the only difference is the way we think, we act and the attitude in ourselves and what we belief.
like how joan kan think how tough accounting are and how juaynna think how easy accounting are.
